Join the ‘Count Me In!’ Campaign

The Count Me In! campaign continues on campus with faculty and staff joining together to support Duquesne’s mission.

The campaign provides a philanthropic opportunity for Duquesne faculty and staff to make a gift to the University. Collectively, the gifts will make an immediate impact on the transformative experiences of Duquesne students. Every dollar donated to The Duquesne Fund is spent during the same fiscal year to immediately benefit the students.

Donors can make an unrestricted gift to the Count Me In! campaign—giving the University flexibility to address its greatest needs—or designate a gift to a specific school, scholarship, Gumberg Library, Campus Ministry, Athletics or other areas.

“I believe in the mission of the University, which extends beyond serving God by serving students to making a financial investment in the current and future leaders of our community, locally and globally,” said Dr. Stephen Benham, associate dean and associate professor of music education in the Mary Pappert School of Music, who has joined the campaign.

Colleen Derda, communications director in the School of Law, has also joined the Count Me In! campaign. “I know I am making a direct impact on student success by supporting the Duquesne Fund,” Derda said. “It’s one way staff and faculty can do just a little more to help the University raise its profile both regionally and nationally.”

This year—for the first time—faculty and staff can sign up for convenient payroll deduction to support the Duquesne Fund as part of the annual benefits open enrollment process online.
