Faculty & Staff Spotlight

Dr. Khalid M. Kamal, associate professor of pharmacy administration, presented Drug Prices and Value Proposition: Perspectives of Healthcare Stakeholders at the West Virginia School of Medicine this month. Kamal was also named the chair-elect for the faculty advisory council within the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outreach Research, effective July 1.

Brendan Kepple, associate classroom technologist, was a double winner at the Sonic Foundry’s 2017 Enterprise Video Awards. He received the Overall Awesomeness Award for his video documenting the role of Mediasite in Simulex, a world crisis simulation event hosted by the Rev. John Sawicki, C.S.Sp., assistant professor of political science.

Dr. John Mitcham, assistant professor of history, was invited by the faculty of the Joint Services Command and Staff College of the United Kingdom to give a lecture on international security. In May, he visited the college and presented The Victorians and the Origins of the Anglosphere.
