Area Youth Build Self Esteem at Cops and Kids Summer Camp

The University’s Department of Public Safety and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion continued their partnership with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police to host another session of Cops and Kids Summer Camp.

The free, weeklong program open to City of Pittsburgh youth was held on campus July 10-14. Campers were given the opportunity to experience positive interactions with police officers and enhance their knowledge of public safety.

Camp participants also took a tour of campus, participated in a CPR class and enjoyed indoor games and gym activities.
