Bishop Zubik, Spiritans to Celebrate Mass of the Holy Spirit
Faculty, staff, students and friends will gather to celebrate the beginning of the 2017-2018 academic year at the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit this weekend.
Mass will be held on Sunday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m. in the A.J. Palumbo Center. The Most Rev. David A. Zubik, D.D., bishop of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, the Very Rev. Jeffrey T. Duaime, C.S.Sp., provincial superior for the Congregation of the Holy Spirit and fellow Spiritans will concelebrate the Mass.
The Mass of the Holy Spirit continues to be one of Duquesne’s largest liturgies each year, drawing more than 2,000 attendees of all faiths.
A boxed lunch will be served on Academic Walk immediately following the Mass. Attendees are asked to RSVP in advance for both the Mass and the lunch by visiting www.duq.edu/mass-holy-spirit.
