Business School Celebrates Launch of Transformative Experiences During Second Century Dinner

Nearly 300 faculty, students, alumni, friends and corporate partners were in attendance for the annual Second Century Dinner and Alumni Awards Presentation hosted by the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business.

The April 5 celebration recognized graduating business students, honored outstanding alumni and commemorated the school’s recent accomplishments.

Dr. Dean B. McFarlin, dean and professor or management, discussed the renovation and transformation of Rockwell Hall’s fourth floor into new cutting-edge facilities during the event. The updated space houses the school’s Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship; Center for Professional Selling; and Center for Supply Chain Management. The centers support applied educational experiences for students and innovative research, and promote interaction with local business leaders and entrepreneurs.

“The new state-of-the-art facilities will reshape our students’ experiences for years to come and help position us among the best business schools anywhere,” McFarlin said.
