Freshmen Honor Society: Phi Eta Sigma

Phi Eta Sigma is a national honor society that is open to freshman students who earned a 3.5 QPA or better in their first semester at Duquesne. This honor society was founded March 22, 1923, and is the oldest and largest freshman honor society and now has more than 375 chapters throughout the United States and more than 1,100,000 members.

This year, over 500 Duquesne freshmen students were invited to join. A mass, induction ceremony and lunch will be held on Monday, April 6 in the Duquesne Union Ballroom. Members will participate in service activities, social events and be eligible for Phi Eta Sigma scholarships.
