Gumberg Library More Than Doubles the Number of Electrical Outlets on the Fifth Floor

In 1978 when the library opened, students required fewer outlets than today. In recent years, it has become common for students to bring multiple electronic devices to the library. One of the most frequent requests the library hears from the student body is for more outlets. In order to meet student needs, Gumberg Library has made an effort to install new outlets throughout the building. As part of this initiative, Gumberg more than doubled the number of outlets on the fifth floor in January. The library hopes that these new outlets will allow students to be more productive as they work long hours in Gumberg.
