SGA Study Break @ Gumberg Library

The finals tradition continues at the Gumberg Library! On Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 3 p.m., students are invited to take a break from studying and enjoy food and refreshments courtesy of the Student Government Association. SGA Study Break takes place on the 4th floor of the Gumberg Library. Get in line early!

New Student Leaders Installed

On Sunday, March 16, 2014, the new officers of the Student Government Association, Residence Hall Association, Commuter Council, Student Government Senate, Duquesne Program Council, Class Councils, Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, Professional Fraternity Council, and the newly founded Black Greek Council were installed at the 11 a.m. Mass in the University Chapel. Student Government Association Happenings

This semester, the Student Government Association hosted “Dinner with Father Hogan.” At the dinner, members of student government enjoyed a nice meal and discussed relevant issues pertaining to student life. It was a very enlightening session at which the members were all thrilled to hear of exciting new things coming to Duquesne, such as the new black box theater. Continue reading

Tipoff Tailgate

On Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, over 25 student organizations participated in the 3rd annual Tipoff Tailgate. This successful and highly spirited event, sponsored by Student Government Association, Duquesne Program Council and Athletics, was organized to encourage student attendance for the nationally televised men’s basketball game against the La Salle Explorers. You will want to get in line early on Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Gumberg Library for food and beverages. Take a break from studying! Thanks to the Student Government Association for sponsoring this event.

Remember, snacks at midnight during finals at Gumberg and your DU ID is the key – make sure you have yours for swipe-in hours.

Christmas Season Lights Up Campus
