Center for Healthcare Ethics Examines Technology and Challenges
The Center for Healthcare Ethics will present The Exponential Rise of Technology—21st Century Ethical Challenges, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, in the Africa Room.
Dr. Bert Gordijn, chair of ethics and director of the Institute of Ethics at City University in Ireland, will deliver this address as part of The David F. Kelly Bioethics Lectures. The series invites nationally and internationally prominent scholars to Duquesne each fall and spring to discuss current and emerging topics in bioethics and provide ethics leadership on crucial issues in today’s health care.
