School of Pharmacy Hosts 85th Annual Commencement

Nearly 200 students will receive their degrees at the 85th annual Mylan School of Pharmacy Commencement ceremony this Saturday, May 19, at 10:30 a.m. in the A.J. Palumbo Center.

Robert I. Thompson, executive vice president of pharmacy for the Rite Aid Corporation will deliver the Commencement address at the ceremony. In his role at the third-largest retail drugstore chain in the U.S., Thompson is responsible for developing and implementing Rite Aid’s pharmacy strategy, including pharmaceutical purchasing, managed care, government affairs, regulatory compliance, standards of practice, quality assurance and more.

The Rev. Sean Hogan, C.S.Sp., executive vice president for student life, will confer the degrees at Commencement.
