Free Concert Features Good for the Soul Music

The University community is invited to a free concert featuring original music on Sunday, July 22, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit.

Hosted by Spiritan Campus Ministry, Good For The Soul Music will feature liturgical musicians and composers David Kauffman and William Gokelman. Kauffman, Good For the Soul founder, began writing and recording music over 20 years ago as a way to help people experience God’s embrace in everyday life.

“Their music is already a vital part of our worship here at Duquesne,” said Stephen Steinbeiser, liturgy director. “We are very excited to welcome these talented singers to our campus and encourage everyone to come and meet these two marvelous musicians as they lead us in an evening of uplifting and prayerful praise.”
