Red Masquers’ 101st Season Continues with Two Shows in February

Duquesne University’s Red Masquers continues its 101st season with two shows in the month of February.

Awakening, a one-act play by German expressionist August Stramm, is a whirlwind journey full of disaster, destruction and chaos. The show begins at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15, in Rockwell Hall’s the Peter Mills Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Admission is free with a Duquesne ID.

The Union Ballroom will transform into an old Hollywood supper club for The Golden Age of Hollywood Cabaret at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27. This one-night-only, black tie event will include dancing, food, drinks and performances of such Hollywood classics as Singin’ in the Rain, No Business Like Show Business and Blue Skies. Tickets are $10 or $80 per table of eight people. Reservations are required as seating is limited. For tickets, contact John Lane.
