Division of Management and Business Announces Several Promotions and Restructuring within the Finance Department
David Beaupré, vice president for management and business, announced several promotions and an organizational restructuring within the finance department. The promotions recognize the hard work and accomplishment of the individuals and will be effective April 1.
Matt Frist has been named associate vice president, finance and business and will provide leadership and guidance to the entire finance department and auxiliary services. Russ Grunebach, formerly controller, will serve as the assistant vice president, finance and treasury services, with oversight of the controller’s office, institutional research, internal audit, planning and budget, and purchasing. Brittnea Turner will take on the role of finance communication specialist and serve as assistant to Frist and Grunebach.
Raili Kieley has been named executive director, financial planning, budgeting and analytics, and will provide day-to-day leadership to the offices of planning and budget and institutional research and planning. Jim Tortella, formerly associate controller, has been promoted to controller and will oversee accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial information systems, and payroll. Samantha Prasky has been named assistant controller with oversight of financial reporting and general and research accounting.
Angela Chirumbolo, formerly senior research analyst, has been promoted to assistant director, institutional research. Nancy Dippold has been named manager, general and research accounting and will oversee the cashier function, research accounting, and the Banner Finance Module. Joe Lang, formerly senior budget analyst, has been named manager, planning and budget. Rita Warfield has been promoted to manager, financial information systems and will be responsible for all finance department computing. Clayton Elwood, formerly research analyst, has been named senior research analyst.
