The nursing school has a presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Nurses Lounge, LinkedIn, Google, Pinterest and Instagram.

Top 50 Nursing 2014According to NurseJournal.org, social media “is constantly changing, so schools must reevaluate their strategies regularly and decide which platforms maintain a presence and how much interaction to engage in with their followers.” This year, NurseJournal.org put more emphasis on the social media platforms that are most popular with nursing schools—Facebook, Nurses Lounge, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.

“The School of Nursing has leveraged social media to recruit potential students as well as stay connected to current students and alumni,” said Nursing Dean Dr. Mary Ellen Glasgow. “We value social media and its ability to reach beyond our walls and enhance our relationships and brand.”
