Faculty & Staff Spotlight

Dr. Mikael D.Z. Kimelman, chair and associate professor in the Rangos School’s Department of Speech-Language Pathology, was presented with the Fellowship of the Association award, one of the highest honors of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, at its national convention in Orlando on Nov. 21. Awardees are recognized for outstanding contributions to the discipline of communication sciences and disorders.

Dr. Jana Patton Vogt, associate professor of biology, published Loss of Ypk1, the Yeast Homolog to the Human Serum- and Glucocorticoid-induced Protein Kinase, Accelerates Phospholipase B1-mediated Phosphatidylcholine Deacylation in the Nov. 7 issue of the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
