Jack Howell, adjunct professor of clarinet in the Mary Pappert School of Music, has been appointed principal bass clarinetist for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
Lauren Turin, manager of media services and distribution, and Todd Hughes, instructional technology engineer, were among representatives from four institutions nationwide to provide a webinar for the Consortium of College and University Media Centers on March 4. Their presentation was The FlexTech Classroom Initiative. The webinar, Innovative Collaborative Learning, shared information from consortium members who have designed and implemented instructional technology.
Dr. James Weber, professor of business ethics and management, presented Discovering the Millennials’ Personal Values Orientation: A Meta-group and Within-group Analysis at the 26th annual International Association for Business and Society Meeting in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, from Mar. 12-15.
