Faculty & Staff Spotlight

Dr. Dorene Ciletti, assistant professor of marketing and sports marketing, served as advisor to a team of students from the University’s chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon (a national co-ed professional society for sales and marketing) that participated in the 2015 Berg Cup competition, a nationally recognized ethics case study competition at the University of Pittsburgh, on March 20-21.

Dr. Gerard Magill, the Vernon F. Gallagher Chair and professor of healthcare ethics, spoke at Religion, Ethics and the Emerging Debates in Healthcare: Controversies and Perspectives on March 19 at Old Dominion University, where he also participated in a panel discussing medical issues from Catholic and Jewish perspectives.

Dr. Joseph McCormick, associate professor and chair of biological sciences, organized and hosted the Pittsburgh Bacterial Meeting at Duquesne on March 7, with scholars and doctoral students from the Pittsburgh region presenting.
