Duquesne Graduates Class of 2015

Degrees were conferred upon approximately 1,600 students at the May 8 Spring Commencement Ceremony.

After being presented with an honorary doctor of laws degree, H.E. Michael Collins, the longest-serving ambassador of Ireland to the United States in the modern era, delivered the Spring Commencement address to the graduates and the more than 2,500 family and friends in attendance.

In addition, honorary degrees were conferred upon both Dr. Sonia Nieto, professor emerita of language, literacy and culture at the University of Massachusetts’ School of Education, and Dr. Pedro Noguera, the Peter L. Agnew, during the ceremony.
