Campus Welcomes the Class of 2019

It was a day of firsts for the more than 1,400 new Duquesne students who arrived on campus on Aug. 18 for Freshman Move-In.

Move-in marks the start of the University’s student-organized, award-winning Orientation program, which runs through Sunday, Aug. 23. This year’s Orientation—which touts the theme This World, Our Path, My Mark—includes activities for freshmen and their parents, such as a matriculation ceremony, graffiti dance, comedy show and various presentations to acclimate students to campus.
