Mass of the Holy Spirit to Kick Off New Academic Year

Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit—which serves as the official kick-off of the academic year—slated for 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, in the A.J. Palumbo Center.

The Most Rev. David A. Zubik, D.D., bishop of Pittsburgh, the Very Rev. Jeffrey T. Duaime, C.S.Sp., provincial superior for the Congregation of the Holy Spirit’s Province of the United States, and various Spiritans and student priests of the Diocese of Pittsburgh will concelebrate the Mass.

A box lunch will be served on Academic Walk immediately following the Mass. Attendees are asked to RSVP online for both the Mass and the lunch.
