Office of Research Welcomes New Hall of Fame Inductees

Three new faculty members were inducted into the 2015 Office of Research Hall of Fame class at a ceremony on May 4.

Each year, the Office of Research inducts a select group of individuals based on criteria that recognizes outstanding research endeavors through sponsored research funding, research impact and/or funding amounts.

The 2015 inductees are:

• Dr. Partha Basu, professor of chemistry and biochemistry
• Dr. David Lampe, associate professor of biological sciences
• Dr. Wilson Meng, associate professor of pharmaceutical sciences.

Honorees were presented with a set of personalized baseball-style trading cards that highlight their expertise and secured grants. The cards are meant to inspire and engage the campus community by celebrating research and honoring the accomplishment of Duquesne researchers.
