Dr. Clifford Bob, chair of political science and the Raymond J. Kelley Endowed Chair in International Relations, has been appointed to the international advisory board of the European Research Council’s 5-year, €1.5 million research project on Postsecular Conflicts based at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. In addition, Bob recently presented two workshops at the project’s inaugural conference in Obergurgl, Austria.
Dr. Drew Simpson, assistant professor of history in the McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts, has been awarded an exploratory grant from the Center for the History of Business, Technology and Society at the Hagley Museum and Library to conduct research for a project on the history of aging in the post-war United States.
