Grants Received
Funds totaling $31,238.13 were received by the McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts and the Mylan School of Pharmacy.
- Dr. Anita Zuberi, assistant professor, Department of Sociology, McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts, $9,927, a Community-Engaged Research Grant, from the Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research and the Office of the Provost, for research. The funding extends through June 30, 2017.
- Department of Counseling, Psychology and Special Education, $20,000, from the American Psychological Association, for expanding the number of accredited internship positions and promoting psychologist training. The funding, which extends through Feb. 28, 2019, will be administered by Dr. Tammy Hughes, Dr. Mary Pat Jones and Anthony Previte.
- Mylan School of Pharmacy, $1,311.13, from The Company of Biologists, for the travel of student Thomas Wright to attend the 2016 NCRI Cancer Conference in Liverpool, UK. The funding will be administered by Dr. Jane Cavanaugh.
