Accounting CPE Conference Welcomes PNC Vice President as Keynote Speaker

Stuart G. Hoffman, senior vice president and chief economist for the PNC Financial Services Group (PNC), will deliver the luncheon keynote address at the 5th annual Accounting CPE Conference at Duquesne.

The conference will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Charles J. Dougherty Ballroom in the Power Center. The event, which is open to the public, includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

Hoffman is the principal spokesperson on all economic issues for PNC and has been recognized as one of the most accurate economic and interest rate forecasters in The Wall Street Journal’s economic survey covering the 1988 to 2014 period. He is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times and Barron’s. Hoffman is a regular guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and is regularly interviewed by the Associated Press, Reuter’s and NPR.

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to eight hours of CPE credit as they participate in sessions that cover accounting and auditing, and tax and ethics.
