Members of the campus community looking for unique and affordable items made by local artisans, crafters and vendors can get a jump start on their holiday shopping at the Women’s Guild Gallery of Gifts Vendor Fair and Craft Show.
More than 30 local and regional vendors will be on hand at the event, which will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, and Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the second and third floors of the Union.
The Gallery of Gifts features original fine art, unique crafts and one-of-a-kind gift items such as hand-crafted scarves, jewelry, bags, cards, sweet treats, candles and cosmetics. A wide range of handcrafts and original designs by local artists will be available, and attendees can buy raffle tickets to win a Christmas tree decorated with gift cards and lottery tickets.
Vendor registration fees for the Gallery of Gifts support the Women’s Guild Endowed Scholarship fund, which assists Duquesne students in financial need. More than $3,000 was raised at last year’s event.
For more information or to sign up to be a vendor, email Denise Sciulli at email@example.com. The Gallery of Gifts is open to the public.
