Facilities Management Changes Process to Submit Hot/Cold Calls

Beginning this Friday, Feb. 3, all temperature calls regarding hot or cold will only be able to be submitted via the FAMIS work order system. Users will no longer be able to submit via em@duq.edu or the online form.

The FAMIS page can be accessed via DORI under the Services & Information section. A step-by-step guide to help complete a hot/cold request will be available on the Department of Facilities Management DORI page under How To Get It Done.

To help facilities management provide better customer service and efficiency, please note the following when submitting a hot/cold temperature notice:

• Specific location of the request
• Select “Temperature” as the work order type
• Select “Too Hot” or “Too Cold” as the work order sub-type
• The current temperature, if known
• Desired temperature.
