Authors of Book About Duquesne Men’s Basketball to Sign Copies at Upcoming Game

Dukes basketball fans will have the opportunity to meet the authors and get a signed copy of Kings on the Bluff: The Next Chapter, a new book about Duquesne’s 1955 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) championship win.

Authors David Finoli, a 1983 Duquesne journalism alum, and Robert Healy III, assistant visiting professor of multiplatform journalism at the University, will be signing copies of the book on Sunday, Nov. 19, during the 5:30 p.m. men’s basketball game against Robert Morris at the A.J. Palumbo Center.

Kings on the Bluff: The Next Chapter details the Dukes’ 1955 NIT championship and the basketball program’s development since that title. Originally published in 2016, the updated version of the book includes Coach Keith Dambrot’s recent hire and a news section, which ranks the greatest teams, players, coaches, games and performances in program history.
