Duquesne Hosts Delegates from Chinese University

Provost Dr. Timothy Austin hosted a special breakfast meeting on Nov. 16 for a delegation from China’s Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), with which Duquesne has enjoyed a strong collaborative relationship, particularly in business and law.

“We are hopeful that the series of meetings held here on campus recently will allow us to deepen and broaden our connection with BJTU,” said Austin.

Duquesne faculty and administrators at the meeting included Associate History Professor Dr. Jay Li; Assistant Law Professor Stephen Baicker-McKee; Interim Associate Provost Dr. Holly Mayer; Associate Law Dean Frank Liu; Dr. Austin; International Programs Director Dr. Joe DeCrosta and Palumbo-Donahue School of Business Dean Dr. Dean McFarlin.
