Part-Time Faculty Invited to Apply for Mission Micro-grants

The Center for Catholic Faith and Culture (CCFC) is currently accepting applications for the 2018 part-time faculty mission micro-grants.

The micro-grant is an important University-wide funding opportunity designed exclusively to support part-time faculty on projects that reflect and contribute to Duquesne’s mission and identity.

Applicants are encouraged to be creative and can seek funding for an array of projects ranging from developing a class project that cultivates community engagement to sponsoring a guest speaker on justice, peace or integrity of creation.

Part-time faculty members who hold an advanced degree in their discipline and have taught at least four courses at Duquesne in the last three years are eligible to apply for a micro-grant. Past micro-grant recipients may apply, provided they have met the reporting requirement for the previous grant and are seeking funding for a different project.

Applications must be submitted online by Monday, March 19. Up to four mission micro-grants of $500 each will be awarded, and winning projects will be announced on Monday, April 9.
