What have Dr. John Mitcham, Dr. Lucia Osa-Melero and Rona Kaufman been up to?

Dr. John Mitcham, assistant professor of history, was the keynote speaker at the 2018 Ph.D. Conference in Politics and History held at Brunel University in London on April 17. His talk was titled The Globalization of the Irish Question and the Origins of the Commonwealth.

Dr. Lucia Osa-Melero, assistant professor of modern languages and literatures, and Carmen Alicia Martinez, adjunct lecturer, co-presented on their Reading to Play, Playing to Read program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Foreign Language Methodology Conference on April 20.

Rona Kaufman, associate law professor, has been named a Wexner Heritage fellow by the Wexner Foundation in recognition of her role as an emerging Jewish leaders in Pittsburgh. Kaufman serves on the boards of both the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh and Community Day School.
