School of Pharmacy Holds White Coat Ceremony
Two hundred third-year pharmacy students participated in the School of Pharmacy’s 16th annual White Coat Ceremony on Aug. 26. The ceremony marks students’ entrance into their first year of professional study as pharmacists.
Students were presented with white coats they will wear during their laboratory and experiential education. They also received a School of Pharmacy pin and recited a pledge of professionalism.
Duquesne alumna Laura Mark, vice president of pharmacy at Allegheny Health Network, delivered the keynote address.
