Funds totaling $24,727 were recently received by the Duquesne University Cares Office and the School of Pharmacy.

• Duquesne University Cares Office, $20,000, from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, for programs to reduce and eliminate underage and dangerous drinking.
• Dr. Rehana Leak, associate professor of pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, $4,727, from the National Institutes of Health passed through the University of Pittsburgh, for Molecular Therapies to Promote White Matter Restoration After Traumatic Brain Injury.
