School of Education, Gussin Spiritan Division Host Fall Counseling Symposium

University counselors, psychologists, academic advisors and student support staff from the tri-state area recently convened at the Fall Counseling Symposium, where they focused on at-risk and high-performing students.

Presenters at the Sept. 25 symposium covered a broad range of topics, including technology, counseling and intercultural competence as well as support for student athletes and students with disabilities.

The Fall Counseling Symposium was co-sponsored by the Gussin Spiritan Division of Academic Programs and the School of Education’s Counselor Education program.
