Duquesne is officially the first college in Pittsburgh to introduce Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew offerings on its campus.

Starbucks’ Nitro Cold Brew coffees launched today at the Union location, marking Duquesne as the first college in the area to offer this trendy new product line.

“The Nitro Cold Brew program is a cutting-edge approach to coffee that we are confident our Duquesne community will love,” Nicholas Corbett, general manager of retail for Duquesne Dining Services, said.

Nitro Cold Brew is small-batch produced and then slow-steeped for a super smooth taste. Infusing it with nitrogen produces a naturally sweet flavor without any extra sugar, supporting key health and wellness goals while delivering a new and unique coffee experience. Nitro Cold Brew options will eventually be expanded to specialty drinks.

“We’re proud to be the only college in Pittsburgh to feature Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew,” Manz said. “Being the first in the area to adopt this innovation speaks to our desire to provide the latest trends to the Duquesne community.”
