Funds totaling $237,500 were recently received by the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (BSNES) and the School of Pharmacy.

  • Michael Van Stipdonk, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry, BSNES, $12,500, from Ardara Technologies L.P., to support graduate student research in the fields of chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Jennifer Elliott, associate professor of pharmacy practice, School of Pharmacy, $225,000, from the Heinz Endowments, for a project to track and measure asthma in the region’s schoolchildren and advance primary prevention implementation and policy.
