Clergy Abuse Crisis to Be Addressed During Upcoming Lecture

An upcoming theology department event will present a scholarly conversation about the Catholic clergy sexual abuse crisis.

Power, Sex and Violence: Where Do Catholics Go From Here? will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 4 p.m. in the Power Center Ballroom.

Dr. Lisa Sowle Cahill, professor of theology at Boston College, will be the guest speaker. She is a past president of the Catholic Theological Society of America and the Society of Christian Ethics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

This event is co-sponsored by the McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts.
