Knit, Crochet on Your Lunch Hour to Help Local Cancer Patients

Faculty and staff can knit or crochet hats and scarves for local cancer patients during a series of Thursday lunch-hour sessions being held during February.

Beginners and experienced crafters—and even those who have never picked up knitting needles or crochet hooks—are welcome to participate to make simple items for patients or to give to those impacted by cancer.

The sessions are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. at Laval House on Feb. 14, Feb. 21 and Feb. 28. Participants are asked to bring one or two skeins of yarn; a size H, I or J crochet hook; or size 9, 10 or 11 knitting needles for their projects.
