Faculty, Students Celebrate ‘Pi Day’ With a Pie to the Face

The Duquesne student chapter of the American Chemical Society hosted a Pie Your Professor event to celebrate Pi Day on Thursday, March 14, or 3/14, which represents the first three significant digits of the mathematical constant Pi.

Held on Mellon Patio, students threw pies at professors from the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences.
