Annual ‘Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day’ Slated for April 25

The Office of Human Resources and the Duquesne University Staff Advisory Council (DUSAC) have teamed up to co-sponsor the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

Scheduled for Thursday, April 25, the event invites Duquesne faculty and staff to bring children ages 8 to 18 to work for the day.

As part of the day’s activities, the Office of Human Resources is sponsoring a welcome breakfast; and DUSAC is sponsoring a variety of programs for parents and children. The children can spend the remainder of the day with their parents “on the job.”

Faculty and staff should request permission from their supervisor to bring their child to work and should use good judgment when planning appropriate activities for the day.

Due to limited seating, advanced registration is required by Wednesday, April 17, for the breakfast, lunch and optional sessions detailed below. Parents are required to accompany their child/children to these events. Register online here.
