What have Drs. Clifford Bob, Mark Haas and Maggie Patterson been up to?
Dr. Clifford Bob, professor and chair of political science, published an opinion piece in the Washington Post analyzing the Trump administration’s proposal to create a new Commission on Unalienable Rights and its implications for the human rights movement.
Dr. Mark Haas, professor of political science, was recently named associate editor of Security Studies, one of the top international security journals.
Dr. Maggie Patterson, professor of journalism, has received three awards for papers she has co-written with Dr. Romayne Smith Fullerton from University of Western Ontario. The papers, Naming Names and Ethnicity, or No? How Germany Fits in an International Comparison of Crime Coverage and Rights, Rites and Rituals: An International Comparison of Crime Coverage Practices, are versions of book chapters written for a publication currently in production.
