Third-Year Students Participate in Annual Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony

The School of Pharmacy marked the first year of professional study for 160 third-year students during the 17th annual White Coat Ceremony Aug. 24.

Dr. Khalid Kamal, professor of pharmaceutical administration and advisor to the Class of 2023, presented the students with a School of Pharmacy pin and the white coats they wear during their laboratory and experiential education. The students also recited a pledge of professionalism.

Duquesne alumna Mark Conklin, chief information officer of Pharmacy Quality Solutions, delivered the keynote address.
