What have Drs. Sarah Wallace, Kathleen Sekula and John Stolz been up to?

Dr. Sarah Wallace, associate professor of speech-language pathology, was awarded Fellowship of the Association by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Fellowship is one of the highest honors the association bestows.

Dr. Kathleen Sekula, professor of nursing, will present Navigating the Courts and Reading the Records: The Value of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners at the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants Conference (AALNC) Nov. 2. The AALNC is the gold standard for professionals with an interest in legal nurse consulting.

Dr. John Stolz, director of the Center for Environmental Research and Education, will present 3.5 Billion Years of Microbial Community Interactions Monday, Sept. 23 at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. The talk is part of the R.W. Moriarty Science Seminars. Moriarty founded the Pittsburgh Poison Center, home to the Mr. Yuk poison warning sticker.
