Campus Community Invited to FORS Research Colloquium Series
The School of Nursing’s Center for Research for Vulnerable and Underserved Populations will present fall research lectures for all University faculty, staff and students.
The center’s Forum for Research and Scholarship (FORS) supports excellence in research and scholarship, promotes the exchange of ideas and intellectual debate, and offers peer review of manuscripts.
The following events will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 541 of Fisher Hall:
- Immigrant and Refugee Health Research Interest Group, Tuesday, Oct. 8, presented by Dr. Rick Zoucha, nursing professor, chair of advanced role and Ph.D. program and the Joseph A. Lauritis, C.S.Sp. Chair for Teaching and Technology, the School of Nursing
- Pitch Your Project, Wednesday, Oct. 30, featuring an expert panel that will provide feedback on research ideas
- P-Values: Their History and Current Controversies, Monday, Nov. 11, presented by Dr. James Schreiber, professor, the School of Nursing.
