Campus Prepares for Annual Family Weekend Activities

Students will reunite with parents, siblings and other family members at Duquesne’s annual Family Weekend, slated for Friday, Oct. 4, to Sunday, Oct. 6.

Sponsored by the Office of Freshman Development, Family Weekend features various activities, which include the following:Friday, Oct. 4

• Dancing with the Dukes, 7 p.m., Union Ballroom, $7 admission
• DPC Film Series: Toy Story 4, 7 p.m., Room 105, College Hall
• Duquesne Family Festivities, 7:30 p.m., Towers multipurpose room.

Saturday, Oct. 5

• Continental breakfast and information tables, 9 to 10 a.m., Union Ballroom
• Academic open houses, 10:45 to 11:45 a.m., various locations
• Duquesne men’s football vs. Long Island University, noon, Rooney Field
• Greek Life carnival, 6 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.), Union Ballroom, $5 admission
• Women’s volleyball vs. George Washington University, 7 p.m., Mount Lebanon High School.

Sunday, Oct. 6

• Mass, 9 a.m., University Chapel
• Women’s soccer vs. George Mason, 1 p.m., Rooney Field
• Mind, Body, Spirit 5K, 1:30 p.m., Academic Walk.
