Center for Pharmacy Care Hosting Fall Semester Flu Clinics
The Center for Pharmacy Care will host a series of on-campus flu shot clinics throughout the fall semester.
The three clinics will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second floor of the Union on:
- Thursday, Oct. 3
- Thursday, Nov. 7
- Thursday, Dec. 5.
No appointment is necessary.
Employees with Duquesne University benefits are eligible to receive a free flu vaccine when they present their medical card as proof of insurance coverage. Those without University benefits are asked to bring their medical and prescription insurance cards; most insurance is accepted. Employees without benefits can get a flu shot for $30, which is payable by check, credit card or flexible spending accounts.
In addition, the Center for Pharmacy Care also offers other vaccinations, such as meningitis and measles, as well as those required for international travel by appointment at cpc@duq.edu.
