Annual Red Masquers’ One Acts for Charity to Benefit Jewish Family and Community Services of Pittsburgh

This year’s annual Red Masquers’ One Acts for Charity will benefit the Jewish Family and Community Services (JFCS) of Pittsburgh with one-act plays produced and directed by Duquesne students.

One Acts for Charity: New Surroundings, December 5-7, 8PM, Genesius Theater

“The Red Masquers chose the JFCS because of its 80-year history of providing the Pittsburgh community with a safety net for individuals and families and offering services such as career development as well as immigration legal and refugee services,” Mikayla Gilmer, secretary of Red Masquers Charity Communications, said. “All of the money raised from this event will be donated to the JFCS.”

One Acts for Charity: New Surroundings begins Thursday, Dec. 5, and runs through Saturday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. in the Genesius Theater. The following performances will be produced by Nia Gelorme and Erin Fulton and directed by Duquesne students:

  • God’s Visit, directed by Erin Fulton
  • Sun Dried, directed by Audrey Nigh
  • Family 2.0, directed by Heather Umbel
  • The Secret Origin of Mojo Man, directed by Maxx Domingos.

A suggested donation of $5 will be collected at the door in lieu of admission.
