Rachmaninoff to be Featured During this Week’s Music School Virtual Concert

A performance of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos, Op. 17 will be featured Friday, April 24, in the Mary Pappert School of Music’s weekly A Little Friday Night Music virtual concert series.

The performance by Dean David Allen Wehr and Cynthia Raim of the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society will premiere at 7:30 p.m. on the school’s YouTube Channel.

The concert was originally performed in September 2018 during the School of Music’s popular Moscow on the Bluff concert series.

A Little Friday Night Music is a play on Mozart’s renowned Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Night Music). Each Friday through May, the Mary Pappert School of Music will release a previously recorded concert on its YouTube channel that features student or faculty ensembles.
