Enroll Now in New Benefits and Earn Wellness in Motion Dollars

Employees are encouraged to make changes and enroll online for their 2020-2021 benefits and to do online activities to earn 2019-2020 Wellness in Motion dollars.

Benefits Open Enrollment: Deadline Friday, May 22

The Open Enrollment Period to select your 2020-2021 benefits—which starts Wednesday, July 1—has begun. Deadline to enroll is Friday, May 22. Changes include the following:

  • Working spouse contribution will increase to $76.93 per pay and be applied to all medical plan offerings, including high-deductible health plans. See page 4 of the Benefits Overview workbook for additional information.
  • Introduction of a new Specialty Copay Savings Program for CVS Caremark plan participants. Communications regarding eligibility will be mailed to the employee’s home.
  • Introduction of new RightRx Pharmacy Care Management Program for CVS Caremark plan participants. Communications regarding this voluntary program, focused on presenting the right drug at the right price, will be mailed to the employee’s provider.
  • Decrease in enhanced dental price tags and no change in vision price tags.
  • Medical price tags and high-deductible health plan out-of-pocket maximums increase per charts on pages 4 to 9 of the Benefits Overview workbook.
  • In accordance with IRS regulations, the in-network deductible for the high-deductible health plans will increase to $8,150 for all tiers other than single.
  • The University will again sponsor a $500 contribution to the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account.

Wellness in Motion: Deadline Tuesday, June 30

The deadline to earn wellness dollars for the 2019-2020 Wellness in Motion program is Tuesday, June 30. Eligible employees and their spouses who are enrolled in a University-sponsored medical plan have an opportunity to earn up to $300 each to help offset out-of-pocket medical costs, such as deductibles and coinsurance. The online assessment and other activities are simple to complete–even while under quarantine.
