President’s Awards for Recognizing Civil and Caring Conduct Named

Twenty student winners and six honorable mentions have been named by President Ken Gormley for the President’s Awards for Recognizing Civil and Caring Conduct. All 26 videos can be viewed on Youtube.

President's Award for Recognizing Civil and Caring Conduct: Win $200 for 90 seconds of work! The pop-up contest was designed for students and held in conjunction with Gormley’s annual series that focuses on civil discourse.

Videos could include photos, other’s comments and text to tell their story, and could be about something that the student or a fellow student is doing, something one of their professors is doing, a story they’ve heard about an alum, an inspirational account of someone down the street—it could be anyone.
