Grants Received

Funds totaling $11,500 were recently received by McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts and the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (BSNES).

• Derek Hook, Liberal Arts, a $4,500 Loogman Faculty Research grant, for Sobukwe: Man of Letters. The Loogman grants are designed to build a corpus of high-quality publications in the field of African studies.
• Stephanie Wetzel, BSNES, $7,000, from the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, to purchase lab supplies.
